The event was held in the Mullingar Park Hotel on 20^th May 2011 and attended by over 300 business people from the midlands.   Trend was delighted to accept The Best International Trade Award on the night.  This was sponsored by Eirgrid.

Mr. Brendan Murray, Regional Manager of Eirgrid, presented the award to Donal Lawlor, Managing Director of Trend Technologies Mullingar Limited.

Trend Technologies has relaunched its website www.trendtechnologies.ie to improve communications with existing and potential customers.

The new website is designed to inform the marketplace about the company and about the comprehensive range of services Trend Technolgies offers in precision plastic manufacturing.

The management team worked closely to structure the content from the outset which has contributed to the comprehensive level of content on the site.  The team also thought it was important to lay out the content in a way that makes it easier for the visitor to navigate and find key facts.

“We have been using the Web for many years,” said Brendan Murtagh, Business Development Manager Europe, “and we have regularly revamped our internet presence. Our website is at the heart of our online marketing work, and a very significant marketing channel for us.”

The Trend website now offers more information on the company’s markets and capabilities and uses photos and video footage to show what it can do.

Trend Technologies is a leading sub-contract manufacturer of precision injection moulded and assembled components for the medical, automotive and ICT and industrial sectors.

Set up as Data Packaging in 1981 with just 10 employees and two moulding machines, the company first started producing own brand computer reels for data storage.

Over the years the company has significantly grown, doubling its plant size and adding a class 10,000 cleanroom. Our product range now covers a wide variety of mouldings – multicavity, twin shot, in mould decorated and insert moulded plastics – as well as medical device assemblies.
